We are primarily breeding from Taylor's Whiskey and Wood's Jay based bloodlines (Silverledge, Slash V, old Kel-mar, Colorado, Pincie Creek, and Fairoaks), and have crossed in the solid bloodlines of the Twin Oaks dogs. We strive to breed dogs with the firm foundation of the old farm and ranch dogs. We hold true to the belief that form should follow function. A dog must be built for the job he is to do. On the farm our dogs are tasked with finding, gathering and bringing stock out of both brush and woods. They also move them from pasture to pasture and watch them on open graze. The dogs will move stock through alleys and into and out of stalls and barns. Some of our dogs will also assume the role of livestock protection, while others will hunt, tree, and bay predators and varmints. Yes, we strive for the all-around farm dog.
