CLINICS AND CAMPS: Steve Shope offers on-site stockdog clinics and camps, for both handler and dog (private or group). He also offers clinics off-site across the US and, on a limited basis, abroad.
JUDGING: Steve is an ASCA stockdog trial judge (Anne is a senior breeder judge and obedience judge through open)
TRAINING AIDS: Training manuals and dvds, including "Stockdog 101 Manual and DVD/Video" written by Steve and Anne Shope - for the beginner to stock work or anyone needing assistance in their foundation work. Stockdog 102 Manual and DVD, intermediate and advanced instruction, will be available late Fall of 2008.
TRIAL FACILITY: The ranch is available as a stockdog trial facility: round pen, three arenas, PATD course, and ranch trial capability for any trial registry. We sometimes have for rental trial stock.

Legends has been a breeding kennel of purebred Australian Shepherds since 1992. Our working lines are founded on proven stockdogs. We have dogs working on ranches or farms and also successfully competing in multi-trialing disciplines. With any breeding, we share with you the strengths and/or weaknesses of the parents insofar as their work ethic and capabilities. We guarantee offspring from our stockdogs to work stock. If you have a training problem, we are just a phone call or email away.
Our foundational lines are Hangin' Tree, Las Rocosa and Twin Oaks. We also have Windsong, Trueluc, Zuzax, Odyssey, Adelaide, and Spring Fever in our lines. All breeding stock is OFA'd, eye cleared, and DNA'd.
