We are a young working kennel in Germany and our dogs help us daily with our sheep. We have only a very small flock of sheep, but I need my dogs to help me move the sheep out of the barn, to keep them out when I clean the barn, and when I feed. We also have chickens, Indian Runner ducks, mini pigs and geese. The poultry and pigs we donÕt use the dogs with, but they are always loose and the dogs are with them. Our goal is to breed physically and mentally healthy dogs capable of doing the jobs they were developed for. We want our dogs to be like the original Australian Shepherd, versatile herders of all kinds of livestock.
