At Ad Astra, we strive to produce excellent working Aussies that also serve as outstanding companion dogs. Our mission is to breed talented dogs with strong working instincts that are trained easily using various methods, mature to work at a young age, and are adaptable to various types of livestock. We breed litters infrequently, but when we do, we attempt to do complete advance research and select only the best cross possible. All our dogs are have full health clearances and are as free of genetic defects as is currently possible to determine.

We make a special effort to be sure Ad Astra pups are bred to be intelligent, sensible, and to possess trustworthy temperaments that allow them to be resilient and adaptable, and react reliably in stressful situations. Our dogs tend to be moderate in height, weight, and athletically built for speed, agility, endurance and physical durability. We are an ASCA DNA Certified kennel and all our pups are guaranteed to work and to satisfy their new owners.
