He has been a great asset on our farm, working cattle and horses when necessary. Now in his golden years he is the head dog in charge of supervising the young pups in their jobs. He is always available to give advice from the bed of the pickup, the back of the 4-wheeler, or the front seat of the "Prowler".

Pepper is owned and trained by Anne Jespersen, Birch Hollow Kennel, who writes of her, "she has been started on sheep and ducks and shows excellent grouping ability and loves to heel. She widened out quickly when moved to the large field with sheep and I am very excited about her abilities. She has the makings of a very good working dog. After a little small pen/line work with ducks she learned to be careful with them and now can do anything with ducks from small pen to open fields without being rough. She very much wanted in with the cattle when she was just a few months old when the other dogs were working, but I haven't let her loose with them yet. She looks like she will be pushy, yet biddable ... I believe she's the best of the original Aussie type."

We own a working farm/ranch and our friends are beside us working the stock or riding shotgun as we do our daily rounds.
