I like dogs with sound minds and bodies and tons of talent! Sweetgrass began with a great dog from Twin Oaks kennel. Now I am carefully working on my second generation. My dogs are competitive trial dogs that do everyday farm work first. I like dogs that think for themselves, but want me as a partner. Luckily, when I started raising livestock over fifteen years ago I had the dogs right along side of me, and didn't know any other way to do it. My dogs must feel completely comfortable out in the open field, as well as in an arena setting.
