Rosie, Coosawattee Rose, DNA-VP is a red bi female out of our HOF WTCH Coosawattee C-ME Emmy Rose, DNA-VP by WTCH Coosawattee Here For A Good Time, ATD-Msc, DNA-VP. She possesses tons of natural talent with a strong desire to please. She is very strong minded, thinking Stockdog. She has a nice sense of group, fetch and will cover her stock naturally. Emmy her dam has produced many National Finalist as well as the 2017 ASCA Reserve Champion Cattle dog. Stubby her sire has a big motor with great work ethic, drive, intensity, and a hard grip on cattle. I am excited about what this cross is bringing together!! I have not competed with Rosie, for at this time in my life, time and responsibilities with my family demand my priorities be focus else where. Pedigree includes – Norm Andrew’s Spike, Judd’s Chickasaw Dan (top and bottom), Hangin Tree and Slash V. Rosie is ASCA/AKC registered.
Gibbs, WTCH Apropos Gibbon’s Black Hat, DNA-VP is a powerful stylish black-bi male who has had our attention here at Coosawattee since starting his trialing career at the Peach State Classic for Rick Williams. Gibbs with his performance at the 2018 ASCA Stockdog Finals this past fall in Colorado and over the past two years has earned him tremendous respect and interest from all who have seen him work, particular cattle. He possesses tons of natural talent, is a quiet worker with a strong desire to please. Gibbs has a natural presence of power that you can feel (video link provided) and a hard grip. He is primarily a head dog and has no problem turning a cow. He has a very natural wide out, has excellent balance and grouping and will cover his stock. Observing Gibbs progress the past two years during his training here at Coosawattee and considerating his age, has prompted us to select him for this first cross to Rosie. Gibbs while being handled by Donna finished 10th overall at the 2017 ASCA Nationals Pre-trial in Texas in Advanced Cattle and under the handling of Tony finished just out of the top ten in Cattle at the 2018 ASCA Nationals Stockdog Finals in Greeley, CO. Gibbs also showed very well in sheep and ducks as well, competing through the second go round. During Gibbs’ campaign for 2018 Finals, he earned multiple High Combined and HIT awards while competing across the southeast. Gibbs is ASCA/AKC registered.
Both Gibbs and Rosie have excellent structure and health clearances. This cross should produce great temperament, very keen stock-savvy farm or ranch dogs/or excel in all levels of competition — true Real World Champions! We are anticipated an unmatched working ability with this cross particularly on cattle and look forward to how they will shape our future here at Coosawattee.
