Hurri is a medium sized bitch with structure correct for the work.  She has good stock sense with an ability to see the whole group.  She is quiet and slow on ducks, and very fair with sheep, even able to work young lambs calmly.  On cattle she loves to turn heads and will hit heels when called for.  A good working partner, she always tries to figure out what I want and willingly takes direction when I give it.  She is an important part of our family, easy to live and travel with.  Hurri has OFA good hips and eyes normal.  She is DNA clear for CD, CEA, DM, HC/HSF4, HUU, MDR1 and prcdPRA.   Although this is her first litter, her siblings and their offspring prove the working ability of this pedigree.

Hurri had an outstanding trial season for 2019, qualifying for ASCA Stockdog Finals in Cattle (13th) Ducks (13th) and Sheep 24th) but because of the breeding and this litter, we have chosen not to travel to compete in the upcoming ASCA Nationals in California.  Hurri has competed in ABHA completing in sheep, turkey and ducks and earned her Herding Trial Champion title.  She has also started competing in AKC, earning two legs on her Advanced Sheep, Course A.

Boss is a handsome sturdy built black-tri male with minimal white.  There are multiple Hall Of Fame and WTCH’s in Boss’ pedigree. He possesses tons of natural talent with a strong desire to please. He has a natural presence of power and will grip when appropriate.  Boss will go to both head and heel but prefers the head. He has a strong group and fetch, good balance, rates well and will cover his stock.  In his limited trialing career through Open Division has earned multiple HITs in cattle and sheep.  Boss won the most promising started at the Cherokee Rose trial in 2015.  Boss’ main duties over the past several years have been moving cattle for Breeder/owner Tony Padgett.  Boss has OFA good Hips and eyes normal. All Genetic panel test were clear for CD, CEA, DM, HC/HSF4, HUU, MDR1 and predPRA.

These individuals complement each other in conformation, structure, temperament and working ability. If you are looking for an Aussie with a great attitude and an easy-to-train stock-savvy stockdog that should excel in all areas of livestock handling as well as performance competition this is the cross for you.  As an added plus for this litter they will be registered with the Coosawattee kennel name.

This cross should produce great temperament, very keen stock savvy farm or ranch dogs/or excel in all levels of competition – True Real World Champions!
